Pay Selmon Expressway Tolls Online

For you to be able to pay Selmon Expressway invoice online, you simply need to visit the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) website, click to indicate that you wish to make a payment, and then enter the required details in order to complete the payment. The need for you to visit the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) website in order to make the toll payment arises out of the fact that the Selmon Expressway is one of the roads that are tolled by the said authority. If, as per THEA’s operations, you are in the category of ‘toll-by-plate’ customers, you are bound to receive invoices, which you can then settle on the TollByPlate website, whose link you can access from the payments page of the THEA website. There are also instances where, having used the Selmon expressway, you may receive a collections letter from a company known as ETAN Industries, which has been contracted by THEA to do collections. In this case too, you’d need to go to the payments page of the THEA website, click to indicate that you wish to ‘Pay Here’, and proceed to enter the required payment details.

Steps to follow when paying Selmon Expressway invoice online

  • Firstly, you need to go to the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) website. To do this, you need to put your computing device on, and then launch the browser application. Then you need to enter the address/URL for the THEA website into the browser application. The address/URL we have just made reference to is provided in the ‘links’ section of this article. When you enter that address/URL into your browser application, you are taken straight to the THEA website.
  • When you get to the THEA website, on the landing page, right at the top, you will see a main menu with items like ‘Authority’, ‘Traveler Info’, ‘Community Investment’, ‘Procurement’… and so on. Roll your mouse over the ‘Traveler Info’ link. When you do so, a drop down menu box appears below, with four columns of links entitled ‘Tools’, ‘Payments’, ‘Road Ranger’ and ‘Reversible Express Lane’ respectively. Click on the ‘Payments’ link.
  • When you click on the ‘Payments’ link, you are taken to the payments page. On this payments page, if what you are trying to settle is a toll-by-plate invoice, click on the appropriate link, and you will be taken to the toll-by-plate site, where, upon logging into your toll-by-plate account, you will be able to settle the invoice.
  • On the other hand, if what you received is a collections letter from ETAN industries, scroll down the payments page a bit, and you will encounter a section entitled ‘Collections Payments’ (just below the Toll-By-Plate section). Click on the ‘Pay Here’ button within that section. Then on the screen you are taken to, click on the orange-colored ‘Make a Payment Now’ button, and enter the required details, to complete the payment.
