Pearson Mymathlab Registration

MyMathLab provides you, as an educator, with the tools you need to help each and every one of your students to succeed. Among those are online homework products, online tutorial products and online assessment products. If you, like almost all other educators, have been having a difficult time trying to get your students to understand difficult concepts, you will find the tools available at MyMathLab highly useful. The tools that are available at MyMathLab are based on intensive and extensive research, and through them, you should be able to get your students to understand difficult concepts without struggling too much. While registering as an educator at MyMathLab, you have the option of either creating or copying courses you have already created – or simply using courses created by other instructors. The latter option means that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel, but you can contribute to the betterment of the wheel (after enrolling for courses created by other instructors, and then being an active participant in the courses).

Requirements for you to register for an online account as an educator at MyMathLab

To register for an online account as an educator at MyMathLab, you need to be equipped with a computing device that has a browser application and that is connected to the Internet. At some point in the registration process, you will be required to enter an instructor access code — which is to say that you need to have an instructor access code, before registering an online account as an instructor at MyMathLab. If you don’t have the code, you can quite easily request for one on the site.

Steps to follow when registering for an online account as an educator at MyMathLab

  • Firstly, you need to go to the MyMathLab website. To do this, you need to put your computing device on, and then launch the browser application. Then you need to enter the address/URL for MyMathLab website into the browser application. The address/URL we have just made reference to is provided in the ‘links’ section of this article. When you enter that address/URL into your browser application, you are taken straight to the MyMathLab portal.
  • When you get to the MyMathLab portal, on the landing page, at the right hand side, you will notice a sign in box. Below the ‘Sign In’ button, you will notice somewhere written ‘Register Now’. Below that are a couple of buttons you can click on, to specify whether you wish to register as a student or as an educator. Click on the ‘Educator’ button, to register as an educator.
  • When you click on the ‘Educator’ button, a pop-up window appears, where you are required to specify whether you wish to create or copy courses, or if you wish to enroll for a course created by another instructor.
  • If you click to indicate that you wish to create or copy your own courses, you will be taken to a screen where you will be required to specify whether you have an access code, or you’d like to request for one. If you already have a code, click on the ‘Yes, I have a code’ button. You will then be taken to a screen where you will encounter a license agreement. Read through the document, and then click on the ‘I Accept’ button. Upon clicking on the ‘I Accept’ button, you will be taken to yet another screen, where you will need to initiate the actual registration process by entering the access code.
  • On the other hand, if you clicked to indicate that you’d like to enroll for a course created by another instructor, you will be taken to a screen where you will need to enter the course ID, in order to initiate the registration process.
